FAQ
Many people choose artificial grass for their lawns because it is low-maintenance and long-lasting. On average, artificial grass can last 10 to 15 years, but some high-quality options may last up to 20 years.
Our highly skilled turf installation technicians take care of all the work for you. The highly innovative backing mechanism allows for quick water drainage, and we use nearly double the amount of infill compared to our competitors. That way, you won’t have to replace the infill or fluff up the grass as often.
As for installation, we nail down the seams at every inch instead of using tape, which you’d need to replace frequently. You also won’t have to worry about weeds, as we use heavy lawn fabric to stop them from growing through the turf in the first place.
Summer sun can be harsh on your lawn, causing it to fade and lose its lush green color. However, artificial grass is formulated with UV light stabilizers and inhibitors that help keep the grass looking as green as the day you bought it.
After your artificial turf is installed, it may take 6 to 8 weeks for the blades to settle. Be sure to check the lawn periodically for any lifted edges or separation between joins. If you notice any of these issues, give us a call right away.
Artificial turf is a great way to have a beautiful, weed-free lawn without all the work that natural grass requires. However, it is important to note that weeds can still grow in artificial turf, particularly if they are able to get through the backing material or are growing around the edges.
Lawns can become compacted from heavy usage over time. This causes the grass blades to lay flat and results in an unhealthy lawn. To fix this, simply brush the grass with a regular broom to revive the grass blades.
Artificial grass can definitely be installed over top of decking material! This is a growing trend as more and more people are looking for ways to make their outdoor living spaces more comfortable and inviting. There are now special artificial grass deck tiles that are made specifically for this purpose. They are easy to install and give your decking a whole new look!
It is important to clean your artificial turf regularly in order to maintain its appearance. Raking the turf will remove leaves and other debris, and can also help to keep the blades upright and looking natural. For bigger messes, such as pet waste, pick up the mess and then hose down the area. Allow the water to drain afterwards. You can also apply a turf deodorizer if needed.
